My husband will look several sizes smaller simply by not wearing pleated pants. Flat paneled paints will give you an even appearance across the waist that no other look can. I don't know how many times I wore my black simple pencil skirt that had two slits up the side out for a night of dancing, and then to work the next day. A nice black skirt suit can be accessorized for the summer, and then dressed up for winter use. I love the Roamans Black Skirt Suit With a Wash Hem. The suit has some nice cuts and is ideal for the office. If you want to get a little wild try pairing some comfortable, yety classy heels with this suit, or a pair of gladiator sandles that add some interest to a professional black suit. Pair these outfits with a nice necklace that sits close to the neck. The Roamans Spencer Jacket and Flare Dress is unique because it is not too common to find an A-line dress and jacket combination. When I sold wedding gowns for a number of years, time and time again, an A-Line gown would look sensational on a plus sized woman, because it slims down the waist and disguises the weight around the hips and the legs. Both of these suits come in a wide variety of colors. When I was a bridal consultant, I found that the diagonal wedding gowns looked terrific on any shape, because the vertical straight lines gave the illusion of a taller, and more narrow body shape. Lines can divide space and change the proportions, so you want to choose clothes with strong vertical lines in order to direct the eye up and down which lenghens and slim a figure WHERE as.......as horizontal lines can emphasize and broaden.
